Next month, another production line is scheduled to be powered down with another 160 employees “furloughed”. This comes after VW begged employees to take part in “voluntary” layoffs earlier this year as it eliminated an entire shift. 

Shawn Fain promised everyone that things at the UAW would turn the page on its history of corruption and retaliation when he took office as union President two years ago. But has anything actually changed at the UAW? Of course not!
